The mixed Israeli-Palestinian ‘Peace Team’ which will be participatingin the Football for Hope Festival held in conjunction with thissummer’s World Cup in South Africa was launched in Jaffa on Tuesday.The Sport Department at the Peres Center for Peace held its annual MiniWorld Cup tournament on Tuesday in which mixed teams of Palestinian andIsraeli youth represented countries participating in the World Cup.The event concluded with an exhibition game between the ‘Peace Team’ and the Maccabi Jaffa youth team.
