Flag Football: Bitach edges Tov Pizza in 6OT scrum

Several exciting games took place this weekend as the first round of the playoffs got underway in the Moshiko Men's Contact League of the Talk'n'Save AFI. Karelitz's upset bid of Derech Etz Chaim was spoiled as Derech Etz Chaim came back to win 27-25. Big Blue, as well, escaped a first-half scare after the Chabad Lubads went up 13-0, but the perennial powerhouse ended up coming back and winning large, 35-13. Orli Print and the Cobras both hung on for one-point victories and, in the game of the night (and season, for that matter), Bitach needed six overtimes to edge Tov Pizza, 29-28, in front of a packed and frenzied crowd at Kraft Family Stadium.
