Flag Football: DEC, Lobos to meet in Holyland Bowl

The much-anticipated Holyland Bowl matchup has finally been decided. This year's Talk'n'Save AFI Moshiko Men's Contact League final will see Derech Etz Chaim take on the Lobos. Both teams were highly ranked throughout the season and faced tough competition on their way to the championship game. The Holyland Bowl will be played March 7 at Kraft Family Stadium at 9:15pm. Arrive early as Kraft will also be playing host to five other lower tier championship games on Saturday night, both before and after the Holyland Bowl. In the Terem Bowl, it's One Jerusalem vs D & B; in the Moshiko Bowl, Torat Shragah takes on Kesher Krew; in theTalk'n'Save Bowl, it's Famous Consulting vs YZMS; the Jerusalem Sports Medicine Cup pits Travaglini against Kol Contacts; and the Yitzchak Fink Medics Cup will see Studio 803 face off with Holy Bagel/Ohr David. Meanwhile, last week in the AFI Tuesday Night Non-Contact Flag Football League, Kfar Zippori, led by the ageless Mordechai Goodman, won their fourth championship in the last five years by beating Sass Video 40-14 Goodman hooked up with Steve Leibowitz for the first touchdown of the game, and he went on to throw three more scroing strikes, while his son, Binyamin, and younger brother, Asher, also contributed heavily in the victory.
