Gaydamak suspends his activities at Betar Jerusalem

Days after his heavy defeat in the Jerusalem mayoral elections, billionaire businessman and Social Justice party leader Arkadi Gaydamak announced Sunday morning that he was suspending his activities at Betar Jerusalem Football Club, although he would remain owner of the club at least until the end of the year. Gaydamak decided to appoint former owner Meir Fenigel as his representative in running the club's affairs.
