Golf: Ben-Haims, Amir and Deutch win Ga'ash Purim tourney

Players were treated to great snacks and exotic drinks throughout the competition.

The team of Shaul Ben-Haim, Paulette Ben-Haim, Amos Amir and Yaakov Deutch won the Ga'ash Golf Club's Purim competition with 49 Stableford points on Monday. In second place was the foursome of Danny Hurwitz, Gary Vandermolen, Ilan Mendelson and Benny Abromov on 47 Stableford points. The format of the competition was an alliance four-ball, two scores to count, and three scores on the par three holes, played over nine holes. Nearest to the pin prizes, sponsored by the Wine Center at Ga'ash, went to Daniel Fox and Shaul Ben-Haim. Throughout the competition the players were treated to great snacks and exotic drinks. At the prize-giving ceremony a special prize went to Eliezer Shkedi, the retired ex-head of the Israeli Air Force, for winning the title of the "Most Improved Player" in the February Monthly Medal.
