Yoram Silberstein and Gidon Milwitzky battled to victory in the Ga'ash Golf Club's annual Succot tournament on Thursday. The format of the tournament was a Better-Ball Stableford competition, 75% handicap. Sixty golfers participated in the event, which had a shot-gun start and at the completion a prize-giving ceremony was held on the terrace of the Albatross restaurant at Ga'ash Golf. The victorious pairing came home with 40 Stabelford points. Second place was taken by Giselle Cababya and Pesach Brobitski with 39 Stableford points. Nearest to the Pin prizes, sponsored by the Pro-Shop at Ga'ash, went to Shlomo Kuperman and Atzy Peters. Alan Blumenstik scored a hole-in-one on the par three fourth hole playing 114 meters. In addition, Brian Galgut scored a hole-in-one on the par three 18th, playing 165 meters. The duo of Amos Meitar and Doron Ben-Ami, members of Ga'ash Golf, will represent Israel in the International Pairs Tournament to be played this week in Scotland. Ga'ash Golf Club is now looking forward to its annual "Ladies Day" competition to be held later this month.
