The Olympic Committee of Israel announced the opening of the Olympic Experience Museum at Hadar Yosef, Tel Aviv, on Sunday. Some NIS 15 million was invested into the museum, which is built around a virtual trip through time. Each visitor goes through several visual and interactive stations, begining from ancient Greece and including segments about the murder of the 11 Israelis at the 1972 Munich Olympics and Israel's six Olympic medalists in its short 61-year history. "The visit to the Olympic Experience Museum passes the message that each and every one has the right to realize his dreams," OCI General Secretary Efraim Zinger said. "As the Olympic Committee, it is our role to support the athletes as well as spreading the Olympic values and thus promoting the sporting culture in Israel."
