UAE decides to grant visa to Israeli tennis player Andy Ram

The United Arab Emirates on Thursday afternoon decided to grant a visa to Israeli tennis player Andy Ram, allowing him to participate in the Dubai Tennis Championships.
The small, Arab Gulf nation banned Israel's Shahar Pe'er earlier this week from entering the country to participate in the lucrative tournament.
Organizers said they feared fan anger over the IDF's recent operation in Gaza would spill into riots if Pe'er were to play.
