Children's television character Vipo the flying dog (second right) was introduced as a sponsor of Betar Jerusalem at the Premier League club's season-opening press conference at Teddy Stadium yesterday, to the amusement of Betar players (left to right) Barak Itzhaki, Aviram Bruchian and Amit Ben-Shushan.
The word 'Vipo' will be emblazoned on the back of each Betar player's jersey this season.
Coach Itzhak Schum (right) appeared to find the situation less funny.
