Last week, the Veksler family packed up their house in Queens NY, got on a plane to Israel and moved into their new home in the Mevo Horon settlement. So, 9 days after making Aliyah, what is the next step for the Veksler family? Finding jobs.

The Vekslers and their four kids came to Israel on the first Nefesh B’Nefesh aliyah flight of the 2011 summer. Before coming to Israel, Alex Veksler worked as a vice president in finance for one of the major banks in the United States. He decided to give up the job that provided for his family, to make Aliyah.
