56 night buses to operate on Purim

Fifty-six night bus lines will operate through 65 municipalities across the country during Purim, the Transportation Ministry announced on Monday. At many of the night bus stops – such as several in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Herzliya, Rishon Lezion, Haifa, Beersheba and Netivot – coffee bars will operate to provide revelers with coffee and directions home, the ministry explained. “I call upon young people to ride the night buses rather than taking a risk through drunk driving,” said Transportation Minister Israel Katz.

“Night lines are a public service of top priority, and we will continue to provide these services to passengers.” Information and operating schedules for the special buses can be found on the website kav-layla.co.il, on the Kav Layla Facebook page or by calling *8787.
