56 night buses to operate on Purim
Fifty-six night bus lines will operate through 65 municipalities across the country during Purim, the Transportation Ministry announced on Monday. At many of the night bus stops – such as several in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Herzliya, Rishon Lezion, Haifa, Beersheba and Netivot – coffee bars will operate to provide revelers with coffee and directions home, the ministry explained. “I call upon young people to ride the night buses rather than taking a risk through drunk driving,” said Transportation Minister Israel Katz.

“Night lines are a public service of top priority, and we will continue to provide these services to passengers.” Information and operating schedules for the special buses can be found on the website, on the Kav Layla Facebook page or by calling *8787.
