Jet training canceled after incidents

Israel Air Force chief Maj.-Gen. Amir Eshel canceled training sessions for fighter jet pilots on Wednesday following two safety incidents.

Operational readiness and activities will continue as normal, the IDF Spokesman Office said.

The air force will hold a flight safety day, after an F-16 fighter jet pilot experienced vertigo during a training flight over the Mediterranean Sea on Monday. The navigator took over the controls and safely landed the jet at its base.
