Cooking with JPost: How to peel an apple in a second

All you need is an electric drill and a peeler. In just 2 easy steps, our resident chef shows you how to get skin off your apples.
 


For all your apple cooking needs, here Chef Yochanan Lambiase gives you a quick and easy trick to peel an apple in matter of seconds. Whether you are making apple pie, compote, or a fruit salad, this is a great tip.

What you will need:

  • Apple
  • Peeler
  • Electric drill

STEP 1:
An unexpected pair 


Stick the tip of the drill into the top of the apple.

STEP 2:
Spinnerama


Press the peeler against the side of the apple and turn on the drill. And that's it!
