Poll: 70% of public encounters incitement online
Most Israelis found incitement on social networks, a Knesset Channel poll found Tuesday.

According to the survey conducted by the iPanel online polling institute, 70 percent of Israelis encountered incitement on social media, while 28% said they did not.

When asked whether the police should act against those who post such messages, 83% of the public said yes and only 10% said no.

Less than a quarter of those polled (23%) said employers should fire or severely punish those who write that they identify with civilian residents of Gaza, while 71% oppose such actions. Another 4% advocated lighter punishments.
