The US should establish a mutual defense agreement with Israel, Republican senator Lindsey Graham told the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) event on Saturday, according to Walla! news.
"An attack on Israel is an attack on the US," Graham told the RJC convention which is taking place in Las Vegas.
Graham emphasized that now is the time to let the world know how important the relationship between Israel and Washington is.
President Donald Trump spoke earlier on Saturday at the event, addressing the upcoming Israeli elections, the Jerusalem embassy move, the US recognition of the Golan Heights, sanctions on Iran and the changes in US-Israel relations since the Obama administration.
