The Israel Defense Forces on Wednesday released before-and-after photos of some of the destruction it caused in the Gaza Strip Tuesday after Hamas fired a rocket that landed on a private home in central Israel.

In addition, the army shared photos of troops in action in the Gaza Strip.

Overnight Tuesday, incoming rocket sirens were activated as Israeli Air Force struck further targets in the Hamas-run Gaza Strip.

The IDF reported that Israeli fighter jets struck several targets in the southern Gazan city of Khan Younis, including a military compound and a weapons manufacturing site belonging to Hamas. Within moments of this and other strikes, rockets were fired into Israel.
