IDF soldiers open fire on vehicle that tries to hit them near Bethlehem

No soldiers hurt in incident, IDF searches for vehicle in nearby village.

IDF soldiers opened fire on a Palestinian vehicle that attempted to run over soldiers near Bethlehem in the West Bank on Sunday.
The soldier's recognized the vehicle, which came from the direction of the village of Al-Khader, accelerating toward them at a checkpoint.
The soldiers then opened fire, successfully hitting the vehicle. The car sped away and the IDF was searching the area for suspects.
No soldiers were injured in the incident.
In a separate incident, an IDF unit arrested two Hamas members in the West bank village of Bidu, southwest of Ramallah overnight between Saturday and Sunday.
The wanted security suspects have been taken for questioning, the army said.
