Security forces identified the terrorist who stabbed an Israeli woman to death as Maher Hamdi Hashalamun, 30, of Hebron.
He is affiliated with Islamic Jihad, and served a five-year prison sentence from 2000 to 2005 for firebombing an IDF patrol.
Hashalamun killed a 25-year-old woman in a stabbing terror attack at the Alon Shvut junction in the Gush Etzion area of the West Bank on Monday.
The attack came hours after an IDF soldier was stabbed and critically wounded by a terrorist in Tel Aviv.
