Ben-Gurion University is honoring author Amos Oz on his 70th birthday at its 39th Annual Board of Governors Meeting on Tuesday. The event includes a musical celebration by singer Ronit Ophir of his book The Same Sea and of his career at BGU, along with the opening of an exhibition of Oz's works called The Mapping of Language. Last year, Oz received an honorary doctorate from Ben-Gurion University. The program can be viewed online at www.bgu.ac.il.
