An Israeli airstrike on Kfarhata, a village in south Lebanon, killed seven people on Sunday, including a 4-year-old child, Lebanon's health ministry said in a statement.

Another Israeli attack on the Jnah neighborhood in Beirut killed four people and injured 39 others, the ministry added.

The strike on Kfarhata followed an overnight evacuation order by the Israeli military instructing residents to leave the village.

As Lebanese Christians, who make up roughly a third of the population, marked Easter Sunday, the country experienced one of its most violent days since fighting with Israel erupted early last month.

Throughout the day, Beirut echoed with the sounds of strikes and the screech of low-flying planes overhead. The southern suburbs of the capital were hit by eight airstrikes, state media reported.

Earlier on Sunday, the Lebanese army also said that a soldier had been killed in an Israeli strike in southern Lebanon.

As part of these operations, the troops had conducted several raids on Hezbollah cells, including one in which terrorists had been about to launch an anti-tank missile at Israel forces.

In other raids, numerous weapons, including more anti-tank missiles, RPGs, rockets, rifles, and magazines, were seized by IDF soldiers.

Weapons, terror training materials found in Lebanon school

Later on Sunday, the IDF announced that the Golani brigade had found weapons and Hezbollah equipment in a school in southern Lebanon.

Among the equipment were Hezbollah uniforms and military gear, Radwan Force unit graduation certificates, and RPG operation manuals. There were also surface-to-surface rockets and launchers found in the school, the military added.

Additional weapons and equipment was found near the school, including more explosives such as anti-tank missiles, as well as military vests and helmets.

"This all was found alongside packages that were sent from Iran to Shi'ite villages in Lebanon," the IDF stated.

Earlier on Sunday morning, soldiers from the IDF's 226th Brigade identified two Hezbollah terror cells in southern Lebanon, coordinating with the air force, who struck the terrorists, killing them, the IDF confirmed.

The strikes took place over the past 24 hours, the military noted.

Additionally, the Israel Air Force struck and destroyed operational infrastructure being used by Hezbollah terrorists on Saturday night.

Meanwhile, the military noted that the 146th Division has killed over 90 Hezbollah terrorists since ground operations in southern Lebanon resumed.

Amid this, IDF Arabic Spokesperson Col. (res.) Avichay Adraee issued an evacuation warning for Beirut's southern suburb of Ghobeiry on Sunday morning.

Adraee pointed out a specific building used by Hezbollah terrorists, and instructed residents of that building and those adjacent to evacuate and "stay at least 300 meters away."

Since the operations in southern Lebanon resumed, the IAF has struck over 2,000 targets using fighter jets, combat helicopters, and remotely piloted aircraft, the military noted on Sunday.

As part of these operations, the military published video footage of radio communications between a helicopter pilot and ground forces amid a strike on Hezbollah terrorists in southern Lebanon.
