Bouzaglo's film going to Monte Carlo

Revivre tells the story of the illegal immigrant ship Yehuda Halevy, which was the first to arrive in Israel from Morocco in 1947.

Haim Bouzaglo's Revivre will be screened at the Monte Carlo Television Festival in June. It will compete in the prestigious television series category. Revivre, a French-Israel coproduction, is a drama shown on Channel 1 in six installments; it tells the story of the illegal immigrant ship Yehuda Halevy, which was the first to arrive in Israel from Morocco in 1947, and the olim's process of settling in among Ashkenazim, the British and the Arabs. The director's father came to Israel on that ship. The film will appear on Israeli screens in July in two parts.
