Singer, songwriter, actor and poet Charles Aznavour will arrive in Israel in November for a one-off performance in Tel Aviv, it was announced Monday after his management and Helicon Records signed a deal.

Aznavour, a popular French singer of Armenian descent who is also known for
his public activism and diplomacy, will perform at Tel Aviv's Nokia Arena on November 23.

During a career that has lasted over 70 years, he has appeared in over 60
films, composed over 1,000 songs and sold over 100 million records worldwide.

Aznavour will dedicate his trip to promoting the peace process and increasing public support for it.
