Soldiers from the IDF's Nahal Brigade operating in southern Lebanon on Monday located and killed three Hezbollah terrorists responsible for the deaths of four soldiers from the brigade's Reconnaissance Battalion last week.
The Nahal soldiers were carrying out counterterrorism operations against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon when they encountered the terrorists, killing them, and later identifying them as those responsible for the deaths of their compatriots, the military stated.
"The Nahal Brigade has been fighting in the northern region for several days now. We encounter quite a few terrorists, destroy them, destroy infrastructure, and find a lot of weapons. Our mission is clear - to protect the residents of the north. Unfortunately, we paid a heavy price in recent days with the fall of four patrol fighters. We managed to kill those terrorists and continue to destroy the infrastructure here," Nahal Brigade Chief Col. Eric Moyal said.
