In Treatment, the US version of Israeli TV hit B'tipul, begins its nine-week, 43-episode run this week on the American cable giant, with English-speaking actors taking on the roles originated in Hebrew by Assi Dayan, Gila Almagor and other stars of the hit 2005 HOT drama. Like its Israeli predecessor, the American series focuses on a therapist and his patients, who, like real-life therapy patients, meet with the TV doctor (The Usual Suspects' Gabriel Byrne) at the same time and on the same day each week. The cast of the HBO version includes two-time Oscar winner Dianne Wiest and LA Law and Sex and the City veteran Blair Underwood.
