Jerusalems October hits

To celebrate the release of its first single, and with a brand new album full of original grungy rock ready for release, Yom Sheni Haacharon Shel October (The last Monday in October) is set to hit Tel Aviv's Levontin 7 this week on what is, in fact, their title day. The Jerusalem-based band's influences include classic bands ranging from Sonic Youth, the Chemical Brothers and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, to Israeli rockers Berry Sacharov and Aviv Gefen. The October 26 concert costs NIS 30, and doors open at 9:30 p.m. ahead of a 10:30p.m. show.
