Loreena McKennitt coming to Israel

McKennitt is known for her world music, which is influenced by Celtic and Middle Eastern sounds.

Ra'anana's amphitheater will play host to Canadian singer-songwriter Loreena McKennitt on June 18. McKennitt is known for her world music, which is influenced by Celtic and Middle Eastern sounds. In her concert, she will play the accordion and piano, accompanied by her soprano voice. She also mixes in cello, harp, violin, oud, bouzouki, contrabass, drums and electric guitar. On her visit to Israel, McKennitt will be backed by seven other musicians.
