Soprano Claire Meghnagi will represent Israel in the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World competition. This classical singing event is held every two years and is one of the most prestigious in the world. No Israeli has reached the competition since 2001. Meghnagi has performed across the world in critically acclaimed performances of operas and cantatas. The competition begins June 6 and will conclude on June 14.
