Armandinho, a mandolin and guitar player from Brazil, and the Israeli-Brazilian Tucan Trio will play three shows this coming weekend. Armandinho comes from a long musical tradition; his father created the five-stringed electric mandolin, and he has been performing since he was 10 and has 31 albums to his credit. The Tucan Trio combines jazz with Brazilian beats and guitar with Mediterranean influences. The shows will run in Binyanima at Shuni on August 7, in Hemdat Hayamim on August 8 and in Tel Aviv at the Zappa Club on August 9.
