US indie band Why returns to Tel Aviv

Led by quirky Yoni Wolf, Why skirts along the blurred boundaries folk, rap and indie rock.

Following their well-received show here last year, the California indie band Why is returning to Tel Aviv for a concert at The Barby club on April 29.
Led by quirky Yoni Wolf, Why skirts along the blurred boundaries folk, rap and indie rock.
Formed in 2002, the trio has released a handful of well received albums including last year’s Alopecia. Their upcoming tour is in support of the band’s newly released Eskimo Snow, and of drummer – and Yoni’s brother – Josiah Wolf’s first solo album Jet Lag.
The show will be opened by Fog, fronted by Andrew Broder, Wolf’s former partner in electronic side trip Hymie’s Basement.
