Do not depend on Reuters

Even this newspaper can slip up, if someone is not paying attention.

I find here this, copied by the "staff" of the Jerusalem Post from Reuters:

The Israeli government official said about 600 homes would be announced in Ramat Shlomo, a settlement of mainly Ultra-Orthodox Jews located in an area of the West Bank.

That is wrong.  Ramat Shlomo is a Jerusalem neighborhood.  And it''s towards the city''s north (not "East").  And no Israel official would have said that which was quoted above.

It is not a "settlement".  Well, unless one belongs to Peace Now, B''tselem, Yesh Din, etc., etc. and et al.

Someone should have done an editor''s review.
