One worker was mortally wounded and around 20 injured in an accident Wednesday involving setting up the platform for the national Remembrance Day ceremonies on Mount Herzl.

A lighting fixture on top of the main stage collapsed on the workers while they were setting up the platform.

Police and Magen David Adom paramedics were on the scene.
