12-year-old girl dies in hospital after collapsing during Bat Mitzva party

A 12-year-old child died overnight Monday at Haifa's Rambam Hospital, shortly after collapsing during a friend's Bat Mitzva party earlier that day. During the party, held in a banquet hall in the North, the girl collapsed and Magen David Adom teams were scrambled to the scene. The paramedics evacuated the child in critical condition to the hospital, where her death was pronounced. The hospital said the girl died of heart failure.
