Two pupils from the Rabin high school in Tel Mond were detained by police after allegedly throwing balloons filled with a dangerous substance at friends who were standing the school yard on Monday.
Three pupils suffering from burns went to the Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba for treatment. Fourteen teenagers in total suffered burns.
Police said the incident was being viewed as a severe attack and that "zero tolerance would be shown towards violence of any sort."
