Former prime minister Naftali Bennett's party has gained two seats (24), leaving it just one seat behind Likud's 25, according to a poll conducted by Lazar Research.

However, the gains were offset by losses in Yisrael! with Eisenkot (13), the Democrats (eight), and Yesh Atid (seven), while Yisrael Beytenu gained one mandate, reaching nine.

The opposition bloc, excluding Hadash Ta’al and Ra’am, continues to hold a majority of 61 seats, compared to the coalition’s 49.

The votes were further split depending on the respondent’s political leanings.

Among coalition voters, 47% believe that Israel and the US had won, 21% believe they did not, and 32% say it is too early to determine. Among opposition voters, only 10% believe they won, while a majority (61%) say they did not, and 29% say it is too early to tell.

Among undecided voters, just seven percent said they won, half believe they did not, and 43% say it is too early to determine.

Additionally, 77% of respondents support continuing military operations against Hezbollah, until Israel manages to achieve its objectives.

Asked on how satisfied they were with several war-time leaders, a majority noted high satisfaction with Israel Air Force Commander Tomer Bar (77%) and IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir ( 71%).

In contrast, less than half of respondents (47%) said they were satisfied with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Among those, 92% of coalition voters claimed satisfaction with Netanyahu’s performance, while only 24% of opposition voters share that sentiment.

US President Donald Trump, however, received 52% of respondent satisfaction, including 24% who responded that they were “very satisfied” and 28% “fairly satisfied.”

Opposition leaders respond to poll results

Responding to the poll, Opposition leader Yair Lapid said the results show that “reality is stronger than all attempts at brainwashing.”

“Israeli citizens have noticed that the regime in Iran did not fall, ballistic missiles shook their homes, the Iranian nuclear program did not disappear, and impressive military achievements were not translated into any diplomatic gains,” Lapid said. “The military succeeded, the Israeli public showed remarkable resilience, and Netanyahu failed completely.”

“The Israeli public is smart,” Democrats leader Yair Golan added. “It understands what we said from the beginning: Without a government capable of achieving a diplomatic resolution, all military achievements will be thrown in the trash.”

The poll was conducted on April 9, after the ceasefire announcement, and sampled 500 adult respondents.
