A 16-year-old youth from Petah Tikva was arrested on Sunday evening for torturing and killing a cat three months ago on school grounds. Disturbing footage of the abuse was passed on to the youth department of Petah Tikva police on Sunday by representatives of the animal rights organization Let the Animals Live. Officers identified the youth and arrested him in Petah Tikva hours later. "He confessed to killing the cat three months ago at school while waiting for a ride home. And he confessed to dozens of other incidents of cat abuse," police said.
