Seventeen Palestinians without permits to be in Israel were arrested near Zichron Ya'akov on Sunday. Police stopped a Ford Transit traveling on the Coastal Road (Route 2) Sunday morning and arrested the Palestinians along with their driver, a man in his thirties.

The detainees, Palestinians from the Hebron area, were brought for investigation by Zichron Ya'akov Police.
