2 dead in car accident on Highway 4 near Yavne

Two people are dead after a car accident early Friday morning on Highway four near the Yavne interchange.  Magen David Adom EMS pronounced the death of a man and woman in their forties, at the scene of the accident.

The accident happened after a driver hailed a taxi on the highway because of a problem with her car. A passing car ran into them and killed the two. The driver of the passing car and its passenger were moderately to severely injured. The two were taken to Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot for treatment.
