Three residents from the Yitzhar settlement were arrested Sunday overnight on suspicion of being involved three weeks ago in the arson of a car belonging to the commander of the Binyamin police station, chief superintendent Yehoram Akoa.

The vehicle was set on fire while parked at a military checkpoint after the evacuation of the Alei Ayin outpost in the Binyamin area.

No one was hurt in the incident.
