Four Israelis were killed early Wednesday morning in Michigan following a light aircraft crash.

A fifth passenger, reported to be a 13 year old boy, survived the crash and was taken to hospital suffering from burns.

According to early reports from the scene, the passengers were 73 year old Moshe Menora, a US citizen, and three of his visiting granddaughters aged eight, 13 and 14, who were all killed in the accident.

The passengers are said to have boarded the small plane on Tuesday afternoon US time, and the plane reportedly crashed and burst into flames during take off, before reaching the end of the runway.
