The five Palestinian prisoners to be released to Gaza as part of the ongoing peace negotiations between Jerusalem and the Palestinian Authority have left Ofer Prison and were on their way to the Erez crossing on Tuesday evening, according to the Israel Prison Service.

The twenty one other Palestinian prisoners were expected to be released later on Tuesday evening or early on Wednesday morning at the Bitunyia checkpoint in the West Bank.
