A nine-year-old child was moderately injured in a hit-and-run accident in Haifa on Thursday.The child was hit at a crosswalk while walking home from school. A motor-scooter overtook a bus which stopped for the child at the crosswalk, striking the nine-year-old before fleeing.Police were searching for the driver of the motor-scooter.MDA paramedics evacuated the boy to Rambam Medical Center in the city.
