The UN-approved sanctions on Iran were characterized by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) on Wednesday as "an important springboard for additional national sanctions" in a statement released by the organization.

ADL National Director Abe Foxman and ADL National Chair Robert Sugarman also called for the development of further sanctions targeting all aspects of Iran's oil industry as the next step to changing the Islamic regime's course of action.
