Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas stressed his commitment to a two-state solution during a meeting in Ramallah with Meretz leader Zehava Gal-On on Sunday.Abbas also told the Meretz delegation that he will seek UN recognition of a Palestinian state in September. During the meeting, Gal-On condemned Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman's campaign against Abbas, which drew praise from the PA president.
