Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas told US President Donald Trump on Tuesday that the Palestinians were willing to restart the diplomatic process based on a two-state solution based on the pre-1967 borders with east Jerusalem as its capital.

Speaking in Bethlehem as Trump visited the region, Abbas said Palestinian conditions for relaunching talks with Israel also included the issue of "resolving final statues issues based on international law."
