"Police did their job and answered the critics with action," Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch said Monday, following the arrest of Damien Kirilik, who confessed to murdering the entire Oshrenko family in their Rishon Lezion home several weeks ago.
"The issue of the rule of law and the police's authority being eroded is discussed from time to time, but all those interested in weakening the police and hurting its image were answered, this time too, by the police's abilities," Aharonovich told Army Radio.
