Air Force grounds all fighter jet training for 24 hours

Air Force chief Maj.-Gen. Amir Eshel halted all fighter jet training sessions in Israeli skies for 24 hours on Sunday following a series of safety concerns.
In one recent cases, two warplanes came dangerously close to one another during training.
The air force will continue to carry out operational missions, and will remain on standby, according to the new directives.
Eshel has ordered all flight squadrons to review safety programs for training flights "Normal training will resume on Monday," the IDF Spokesman's Office said.
