Syrian President Bashar Assad was expected to deliver a speech "concerning developments in Syria" on Monday, Al Jazeera reported, citing the official Syrian SANA news agency.
The speech would be Assad's third major address since protests began in Syria in mid-March. Assad was expected to make his speech at 12 p.m. Monday.
