All access highways to Jerusalem were closed on Friday afternoon. Earlier in the day police opened outbound lanes of Highway 1 in the direction of Tel Aviv. The section of Highway 6 between the Soreq and Daniel interchanges that was closed earlier due to ice on the road was reopened to traffic on Friday afternoon.
