Defense Ministry Diplomatic-Security chief Amos Gilad on Tuesday said that intelligence information indicates Syrian President Bashar Assad's regime is in full control of its non-conventional weapons stocks and that Hezbollah has no such weapons.

Gilad told Israel Radio that while Israel must remain alert and on top of the situation, there is no reason for panic. He added that Syrian opposition reports that Assad is moving his chemical weapons stocks to Syria's borders and airports are not based in reality.
