Anti-terrorist police arrest five in Luton

LONDON - Five men were arrested on Tuesday in Luton, north of London, on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism, police said.

The five, whose ages range from 21 to 35, were held at separate addresses and taken to a central London police station.Police gave no further details but said the arrests were part of a pre-planned, intelligence-led operation. Inquiries were continuing.
